Grafton Group PLC (LON:GFTU) has agreed to acquire Proline Architectural Hardware, a door furniture specialist based in Dublin.
Proline, which works on residential public sector and commercial projects, reported revenue of €10.8mln (£9.8mln) in 2019. No purchase price was disclosed.
In a statement, Gavin Slark, the FTSE 250-listed firm’s chief executive, said: “Proline will bring specialist expertise to Grafton in the architectural ironmongery distribution segment in Ireland.
“It will also enable us to offer a broader range of products and services and to extend our customer base in this segment of the market.”
