Asiamet Resources Limited (LON:ARS) has appointed experienced mining lawyer Eva Djauhari as a non-executive director,
As one of the few mining law practitioners in Indonesia, Djauhari has worked extensively with key mining-related associations and institutes advising the Indonesian government on various mining law and policy matters.
In 2018, she was appointed to join Indonesia’s National Mining Policy Formulation Team.
Tony Manini, Asiamet’s executive chairman, said: “Eva’s background, experience and skills are highly complementary to those of the current directors and particularly relevant to the company as we move into the final stages of permitting and project financing for the BKM copper project.
“Eva’s extensive experience in Aceh will also be highly beneficial to the board as we continue to advance our large Beutong copper-gold project.”
Asiamet has been regrouping after terminating an agreement to develop BKM and securing additional funding.
