They have qualified for the Fortnite Championship Series (FNCS) All-Star Showdown which takes place over the next week, from June 11 to June 26.
The All-Star Showdown culminates in a solo championship that is set to be broadcast to a huge audience, estimated at around 16.8mln, across Youtube and Amazon’s Twitch gamer streaming platform. The solo championship sees the pro-gamers compete for a US$1mln prize pot.
Guild’s entrants are Henrik Mclean (known as ‘Hen’), Jannis Matwin (‘JannisZ’), Tai Starcic (‘TaySon’), Nikolaj Andreas Froslev (‘Flikk’) and Anas El-Abd (‘Anas’).
With five top tier competitors in the All-Star Showdown, Guild said it is showcased as the No. 1-ranked Fortnite roster in the world. Guild added that it has had “a firm grip” of the European Fortnite Power rankings for the last five months.
Moreover, it highlighted that the Guild-owned digital media channels recently saw the surpass 700,000 users, marking it out as the fastest-growing Esports organisation in Europe.
