YO! Sushi is to change name to The Snowfox Group to reflect the growth of US operations ahead of a potential IPO.
The restaurant chain, known in the UK for its conveyor belts, is already trading under this brand in grocery stores on the other side of the Atlantic.
It also operates in Canada under the Taiko and Bento! brands and supplies Tesco and Waitrose in the UK.
It is mostly owned by Mayfair Equity Partners, a London private equity firm, and sells over 60mln trays of sushi annually.
Former Argos chief John Walden has been appointed as chairman and former Whitbread finance director Chris Rogers has also been added to the board.
Richard Hodgson, a former Asda and PizzaExpress executive, is the current chief executive.
The company has appointed Numis as an advisor for the move, Sky News reported.
