Pembridge Resources reports record quarterly output and offtake payments from the Minto mine


Pembridge Resources PLC (LON:PERE) announced record quarterly production and offtake sales from the Minto copper-gold-silver mine in the Yukon territory.

During the second quarter, 8,323 wet metric tonnes of concentrate were produced, up from 7,023 wet metric tonnes in the first quarter.

It received US$26.0mln in offtake payments from Sumitomo Corp, exceeding the previous quarterly record of US$20.8mln received in the first three months of the year.

“Second quarter production at Minto has exceeded Q1 2021 performance, previously its best to date, by a considerable margin in terms of both production output and cash receipts,” said chief executive and chairman Gati Al-Jebouri.

“We are pleased to see this acceleration in production, which makes us increasingly confident for the rest of the year.”
