SpectrumX launches SpectriSKIN website to sell skin-kind sanitiser spray direct-to-consumers

SpectrumX Holdings Ltd has this week launched the SpectriSKIN direct-to-consumer website.

It is powered by The Hut Group PLC’s (LON:THG) Ingenuity e-commerce platform that is also used by household names such as Gillette, Nestle and Nintendo.

The SpectriSKIN website will sell SpectriMIST, an all-in-one sanitising spray that can be used on skin, surfaces and to eliminate odours in the air. The product is available to customers in the UK, EU and the rest of the world.

SpectrumX co-founder and chief executive, Damien Hancox, believes the Ingenuity platform will create a new avenue for the company for its line of patentable Hypochlorous Acid (HOCl) formulations.

He said: “We believe opening up our direct-to-consumer site, in collaboration with a company with the proven ability of THG, will fast track the education process of the many incredible properties of our proprietary HOCl formulations.

“Currently, the power and safety that our HOCl delivers are relatively unknown. Not for long.”

Based on SpectrumX’s patent-pending “shielded” HOCl formulation, the mist created by the spray safe for all ages and skin conditions kills and 99.99996% of bacteria, spores and viruses.

Several NHS hospitals and UK schools are among the roll call of early adopters using Spectricept powered hand sanitisers as a safer, more effective and skin-kind alternative to the current alcohol sanitisers used.

“Our products have been adopted by numerous employers to provide critical frontline workers a safe, powerful, yet soothing sanitiser alternative, including NHS doctors and nurses who have felt the harmful effects of alcohol sanitisers the most,” said CEO Hancox.

SpectrumX is the only company in the world that holds a licence for the use of Spectricept and has plans for what it describes as “novel and game-changing cosmetics” later this year, including a “clean, tone, repair” multi-use face spray to enhance daily skin regimes.

Chief marketing officer, Jennifer Von Strohe, who has previously advised several fast-moving consumer goods brands to transition into e-commerce initiatives, said: “One of the most effective ways to educate the market about a ground-breaking active ingredient and its benefits is to put it directly in the hands of the consumer via a scalable and accessible platform.

“The launch of SpectriSKIN.com via THG Ingenuity is an integral strategic step to educating and popularising the insurmountable benefits of HOCl across the health and beauty sector.”

SpectrumX is listing on the London Stock Exchange in the current quarter. For more information click here
