BlueRock Diamonds PLC, listed on AIM in London, operates the Kareevlei Diamond mine near Kimberley in South Africa, the birthplace of diamond mining. Kareevlei consists of 5 known kimberlite pipes and produce diamonds of exceptional quality and ranks in the top ten in the world in terms of average value per carat.

BlueRock Diamonds PLC, the owner and operator of the Kareevlei Diamond Mine, has signed a loan note subscription agreement for GBP1.61mln.

The agreement is with Teichmann Company Limited, T-Three-Drilling Limited and three Teichmann employees, and was presaged in an announcement back in May.

Under the subscription agreement, BlueRock will initially issue a GBP1.61mln simple loan note (SLN) to Teichmann with the intention that this will be replaced by a convertible loan note (CLN).

BlueRock Diamonds PLC has discovered of a 21.56 carat diamond at its Kareevlei project in South Africa.

The 21.56 carat stone is a high quality, D-coloured round diamond with high value recovery options and its value is likely to significantly exceed the company’s previous record of US$236,000. The stone will be sold in the August 2021 tender.
