Power Metal Resources PLC (AIM:POW, FRA:2M5) has announced a significant expansion of its land package within the Athabasca Basin, located in northern Saskatchewan, Canada.
On 15 September 2021, the junior staked four uranium properties covering 109 km2, which it has now increased to 241km2 through the staking of additional ground immediately surrounding its Clearwater, Tait Hill, and Soaring Bay uranium properties, as well as the acquisition of three additional uranium properties.
Paul Johnson, chief executive said: “The staking process has been undertaken rapidly, to ensure the company was able to secure the ground it identified as highly prospective and the choice of ground has been validated by the extensive staking that has wrapped around a number of our properties.
