(, ) has created its sixth professional e-sports team, with three “top tier” players signed to compete in Apex Legends, a free-to-play hero shooter game.

The company said the team is ranked within the top ten in Europe, comprising Matej Fekonja, known as ‘MaTaFe’; Juho Sillanpa, known ‘Silta’; and Younes Elkherrat ‘Horizxon’; from Slovenia, Finland and the UK respectively.

All three have signed one-year salaried contracts with performance incentives, with an option to renew for another year.

“The team will benefit from Guild’s proven world-class coaching and development,” it said.

Guild Esports PLC (LSE:GILD, OTC:GULDF, FRA:GU0) announced it has signed an all-women top-tier team to compete in Valorant, a 5v5 multiplayer tactical shooter game.

The new team, called Guild X, comprises Vivian Mae Schilling ‘Roxi’, Yagmur Gunduz ‘Smurfette’, Anastasiya Rival’evna ‘Glance’, Benfakir Sophia ‘Kim’ and captain Klaudia Beczkiewicz ‘Cinnamon’.

Guild Esports PLC (LSE:GILD, OTC:GULDF, FRA:GU0) (LSE:GILD) said it has launched an official pro player jersey that will be worn by all of its pro esports players in fixtures and tournaments.

The AIM-listed firm said the jersey will feature the Guild logo designed by acclaimed streetwear designer Fergus Purcell, alongside the logo of Subway, who became Guild’s Official Quick-Service Restaurant Partner following the signing of a two-year multi-million-pound sponsorship deal in March.
