Learning Technologies Group PLC has completed the GBP284mln acquisition of GPS Strategies – a transformational deal for the group.

The purchase of the workforce transformation specialist has helped create an enlarged business employing 5,000 and generating annual revenues of GBP500mln.

The transaction is expected to be earnings accretive from 2022.

Learning Technologies Group PLC has had the regulatory green light to complete the acquisition of GP Strategies.

The company, in a statement, said it expects the transaction will close on October 14.

Learning Technologies Group PLC said it had made a strong start to the second half, adding that it is on course to meet full-year expectations in spite of “continuing currency headwinds”.

Turnover for the six months ended June 30 jumped 29% to GBP82.6mln, thanks in part to first-time contributions from recent acquisitions Reflektive, PDT Global and Bridge.
