Gaming Realms has global ambitions as gaming content market booms

Gaming Realms PLC inked a commercial deal with 4ThePlayer.com, a mobile-first gambling games developer.

The deal will see 4ThePlayer games integrated onto Gaming Realms’ platform for distribution in the United States. This is the first deal of its kind for the London-listed company.

In a statement, Gaming Realms said 4ThePlayer has a growing portfolio of games that align closely with its own Slingo portfolio and by the end of November it expects to have integrated the first game into the platform, followed by four or five further games in 2022.

“We are very excited to be adding a new revenue line to our business by building a selection of 4ThePlayer.com’s games into our platform,” said Gaming Realms’ executive chair Michael Buckley.

Gaming Realms PLC (AIM:GMR, FRA:RNE1, OTCQX:PSDMF) expects full-year results will be in line with expectations after it made “exceptional progress” in the first half of the year.

The developer of mobile-focused gaming content said momentum is set to continue in the second half of the year with the group especially excited about its recent launches in Michigan and Pennsylvania in the US. Furthermore, the company is about to start the process to apply for a licence in Ontario, Canada, which has signalled its intention to regulate online gaming.

Gaming Realms PLC (AIM:GMR, FRA:RNE1, OTCQX:PSDMF) told investors its first Slingo game has now gone live in Pennsylvania, following the company’s recent award of an interactive gaming manufacturer licence in the state.

The game is live in the state via Gaming Realms’ tie-up with BetMGM and the company noted that more games are scheduled to follow shortly.

A change in strategy two years ago for online casino game specialist Gaming Realms PLC (LON:GMR) is starting to pay off.

Instead of competing with the giants of the gambling industry for players’ cash, it now partners with these same groups and provides them with content.

In the first half, total revenue grew 50% in the first half of 2021 to GBP7.7mln from GBP5.2mln in the same period of 2020.
