Cloudbreak Discovery: London’s only battery metals prospect generator

() said 1315843 BC Ltd (BCCo), its exploration partner at the Atlin West project in British Columbia, is to be bought by Canadian group Power Group Projects Corp.

The deal will see Power Group Projects (PGP) assume all obligations of BCCo’s option agreement with Cloudbreak. The AIM-quoted firm agreed to amend some terms of the agreement to assist in the completion of the acquisition.

Subsequently, PGP can buy 75% of the Atlin West project over a three year period by issuing 3mln shares to Cloudbreak, pay C$325,000 in cash and spend US$700,000 on exploration.

“We are pleased to see the management of 1315843 BC Ltd entering into this agreement with Power Group Projects,” said Cloudbreak chief executive Kyler Hardy.

Cloudbreak Discovery PLC (LSE:CDL) has commenced exploration on five recently staked Northwestern British Columbian polymetallic projects. This will represent the first field work Cloudbreak will conduct on these projects.

The properties are located in Northwestern British Columbia and are prospective for base and precious metals which could occur in several deposit types.

Cloudbreak Discovery PLC (LSE:CDL) said it found an exploration partner for its South Timmins gold project in Ontario, Canada.

The partner, identified as 1315956 BC Ltd, will commit up to C$1.5mln (GBP0.9mln) in exploration expenditure on the property, with a minimum of C$265,000 to be spent during the first year.

Cloudbreak Discovery PLC (LON:CDL) debuted on the Standard List of the London stock exchange a couple of weeks ago, raising GBP2mln in the process in a fundraising that was heavily oversubscribed.

As a ‘prospect generator’ the company will source and transact on mineral properties, following a business model that’s well-known in Canada, but which is less well established in the UK.
